Growing up, my parents were not the biggest fans of technology. And although at the time I was devastated to not have a DS or tamagotchi, in hindsight it became one of the greatest influences on my creative ability. No screens, helped spark a deep curiosity and resourcefulness that continues to shape how I approach design today.
I believe that nothing is ever really broken, just waiting to be remade. I’m not interested in perfection but in stories that matter, design that connects, and visuals that linger long after you’ve looked away.
Leah McCabe is a Melbourne-based communication designer who blends bold layouts, hand-drawn charm, and strategic thinking to create work that hits you in the feels. With a Bachelor of Design and experience across branding, publication, and storytelling, she uses design to explore culture, identity, and the messy beauty of everyday life.
